I use the French Method for my hair cutting and hair coloring technique. However, I know the British technique as well as it was the first technique I learned when my career began. The beauty, pardon the pun, is that I have the ability to create your desired results efficiently and effectively.
In the spirit of integrity, there are some types of services that I will not do. Mainly this is because there is a hair condition that prohibits reasonable success. These hair situations may require time for new hair growth and some hair cutting. I can fix most hair mistakes, but there are some hair conditions that I will not risk working on. This will be discussed in our consultation phase
BALAYAGE HIGHLIGHTS
The term balayage is a French word meaning “to sweep.” It describes a highlighting method of painting the hair for customized results. Whether it’s a soft “sunkissed” look or high impact blond domination, Balayage gives natural looking haircolor, with softer, less noticeable regrowth. This technique mimics the way the sun naturally highlights the hair. It produces a dark to light spectrum of levels. This produces a multi-dimensional highlight design.
I do not use foil highlighting techniques. The basic reasons are due to the abrupt grow out that requires clients to come in more often, and the lack of blonde level depth and blending softness.
My Balayage highlighting provides a softer grow out phase, and does not require the frequency of upkeep that foil highlights typically do. If you are accustomed to foil highlighting but are looking for a new look from balayage, initially, there may be a difference in the pattern/transition from one technique to the other. I can go over what this means in the consultation phase.
